Welcome to the 2025 Ravens Cup!
We have 21 teams lined up for the 3rd season of the Ravens Cup! There’s a new Ravens Club plaque on our trophy wall in the clubhouse. Mike Curtis and Yi Ryu (Happy Hookers) are the defending champions and are looking forward to defending their title!
Important Information :
-
What: 2-person teams competing against each other in a net best ball match play event. The team with the best ball low net score on a particular hole wins the hole.
-
When :
-
Round 1 - The bracket will open on March 15, and teams will have until May 1 to complete Round 1 matches.
-
Round of 16 - You will have until June 22 to complete your 2nd-round matches. This process will continue until we crown a winner in the fall.

Quarterfinals - Matches need to be played before July 26th.
-
Semi-Finals - All semifinal matches and the championship match MUST be played at a Baltimore County course no later than August 30th
-
Finals - to be played by the end of September / early October - Must be at a Baltimore County Golf Course
-
Match Coordination: Once the course and date for your match are set, let us know, and we will enter the event into GLS. Please send an email to: Info@FHMGC.golf
-
Where: Matches will be played outside of club events (weekdays, evenings, Sundays, etc.). However, you can play 1st-round matches during our April 26 event (it’s a 2-man best ball event). Players are responsible for coordinating the date, time, and course for their matches.
-
Entry Fee / Prizes:
-
Entry is $20 per player ($40 per team), and prizes will be awarded to the Top 4 teams.
-
Please Note: We intend to collect entry fees by withholding prize money winnings from FHMGC events. This alleviates a huge admin burden and prevents us from having to track down people for payments.
-
Scoring: GLS Live Scoring is MANDATORY for each match. No scorecards will be provided (everything you need is in GLS). Once you submit your scorecard in GLS, the bracket will automatically update.
-
Tie breakers - Each match, all members MUST agree to a tiebreaker format before teeing off. Whether it be a putt off on the practice green, extra holes that day or another day, you need to have it agreed so there is no confusion after the 18th hole if the match is tied.
-
Prizes - Top 4 teams win prizes
-
1st Place = $90 per player
-
2nd Place = $50 per player
-
Semi-Finalist = $25 per player
